Meet Robert Craig Jr.

Robert's love for design began at the early age of 15, as a sophomore in high school. He first began designing for one of his cousins. His first design project started off with ease with cotton fabric and the Sunday comic portion of the newspaper. Robert continued to design through high school, participating in the Home Economics department annual spring fashion show under the teachings of Mrs. Bernadette Gwizadoski. Shortly after graduating high school, he attended Livingstone College and Norfolk state university where he majored in business and design. Robert also attended the fashion institute of technology in New York City where he studied millinery.
Presently, Robert is still designing men's and women's clothing, wedding couture and head dressings. Through his career Robert has had great mentors to influence his creativity. To name a few, his parents, Robert and Josephine Craig, Morris and Debra Heard, Ella B.A. Gordon and Ms. Pat McDaniel, all of which have influenced his design esthetic. Robert has a huge clientele in Washington D.C., the tri- state area and Detroit Michigan. One of his noteworthy clients was Karen Clark-Sheard of the infamous gospel group, The Clark Sisters

Meet Anno Domini
Anno Domini (An-no Dom-in-eye) is Latin meaning "In the Year of Our Lord".The fashion design team Emily Kramer and Amanda Gaskins were inspired to create a fair-trade focused eco-friendly design house in 2008. Both have a background in fashion design and costuming - stage production, renaissance and reenactments, weddings, and formal attire. Amanda graduated from the Art Institute and Emily studied Business Management in Chicago. Since then, their efforts brought them from Chicago runways to Charlotte Seen Fashion Week 2011 where they won the People's Choice Award for Best Emerging Designer.
Their customer likes to take the red carpet wherever she goes. She's energetic, fun, and has a flair for the dramatic. She also has a care for the earth. She loves our planet, and its people. She also might live by Anno Domini's philosophy:

We are home to more than 15 of today's top bridal designers, as well as collections for bridesmaids, flowergirls, mothers, and special occasion. We also carry an extensive selection of accessories such as shoes, jewelry, veils and headpieces.

Meet Erin Grey
I was born in Da Nang Vietnam during the Vietnamese war and came to US in 1976 at the age of 6. I grew up in Asheboro, NC where I graduated from Asheboro high school then attended UNC-G. This is where I obtained a Biology degree that lead me to a career in non-invasive cardiology equipment and research software for heart arrhythmias. This professional position drove me to fine tune my tailored look through alterations and thus I became
more detail oriented in my style as well as others. During this time I began to sew, style my friends in ready to wear and began my focus on fashion.

After several years in the medical field, I decided to go into a partnership with a friend and opened a bridesmaid boutique in Charlotte mainly because my sales position had me traveling all over the United States 2 weeks out of every month. This became too much as a single mom, therefore the prospect of owning a boutique became the ideal solution. I was able to dive into the bridal fashion world and still maintain a great home environment for my daughter, Erin.
Over the next several years, I merged my bridesmaid boutique with J. Major's Bridal Boutique where I became part owner with Anna Chin of Anna's Alterations. My position grew with this partnership by involving me more in fitting, tailoring brides and their wedding party. I then began to custom create accessories and customize bridesmaid and bridal gowns. Now after 9 years in bridal industry, I am able create looks, patterns and totally create the perfect gown for each discerning bride. You can reach me at (704)372-0082.
